REOPENING OF THE CONSULAR SECTION (08/07/2025; updated: 09/07/2025)
Please be informed, that the Consular Section of the Embassy of Hungary in Tehran has been reopened on 8 July 2025.
Our Consular Call Center will be available from 9 July 2025. For information and to request for an appointment please call our Call Center during working hours: +98 21 7918 5000.

Applicants who already have an appointment at one of the other Hungarian embassies must decide where they wish to apply for a visa, in Tehran or in the country of their choice. If they decide to apply at the Embassy of Hungary in Tehran, they must cancel their original appointment at the other Hungarian embassy.
Applicants whose appointments have been cancelled by the Consular Section due to the security situation may ask for a new (early) appointment via Call Center of the Consular Section.
Applicants whose D visa appointments have been cancelled by VFS Global will be contacted by VFS in the coming days. Applicants whose C visa appointments have been cancelled by VFS Global, need to ask for a new appointment on the VFS website.
