Please be informed about the following:
1) Detailed information about the legislative changes and the new immigration system is available on the website of the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing in Hungary.
2) Transitional provisions concerning the entry into force of New Immigration Law 2024 are available here.
3) New D visa appointments are available (purpose of Study, Research, Training, Family reunification, Employment, Guest self-employment, Hungarian Card, and White Card).
4) D visa application appointments for purpose of Guest investor are not currently available. The relevant legislation will enter into force on 1st of July 2024.
5) Since 1st of Janury 2024 there is no possibility anymore to apply for a D visa for Other purpose.
